With This Ring

So long
we waited for
this day to come. And now
our patience yields its rich reward.
So with
this ring
I pledge my life to you alone.
No longer two, but one…
in body, mind,
and soul.

This is another Mirror Cinquain, written for the 5-Line Poetry Challenge, Week 7: Mirror Cinquain. This one is a sequel of sorts to the poem used as a sample in the challenge.
