Let Down

The first sensation of the morning light,
His touch upon my skin so smooth and soft.
My blood began to course with sheer delight
As garments of the night I quickly doffed.
I turned invitingly toward his reach
And lay exposed like foam upon the beach,
Then reaching ‘neath the sheets to where he lay,
My hand caressed his parts most sensitive—
Until he turned and brushed my hand away,
For a little touch was all he meant to give.

  1. Such a moving piece! I know that brush back from years ago and happy it is a thing of the distant past!
Have you thought about putting this up on The Go Dog Go Cafe’s – Promote Yourself Monday??

      1. Well, you should give it a try??? Mondays are Promote Yourself Monday where you post a little intro to your piece and a link in a comment on the event page – pattern after what others have done. and post it. Pay It Forward Thursday is an opportunity to say thank you to someone who’s work you really loved in the last week by putting a little intro to the post and then the link address in a comment box and post it. Simple!!! Try it. You may like it and like some of the other posts by others too!
