Her Smile Warms the Sun

Her legs impart their strength unto the cedars;
Her arms instruct the honeybee to work;
The curve of her hips maps out the rambling river;
Her breasts bestow their grandeur to the mountains.

Her stubborn will turns coal dust into diamonds;
Her passion puts the colors in the rainbow;
Her wisdom lends its depth unto the oceans;
Her tender heart removes the edge from stones.

Her anger fuels the mighty waterfall;
Her tears refresh the land with gentle rain;
Her joyous laughter gives the brook its babble;
And her smile—oh, her smile! It warms the sun.

She doesn’t know how beautiful she is,
But I do, and to me that’s all that matters.
