A Broken Vessel

A Cinquain on Brokenness and Healing

I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind:
I am like a broken vessel. —Psalm 31:12

Broken
Empty vessel
Forgotten as though dead
But God is near to the broken
To heal

The LORD is near unto them that are of a broken heart,
and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. —Psalm 34:18

He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. —Psalm 147:3
