Still the Only One

Though time has ravaged you with care,
and worry whitened all your hair,
I do not say this flippantlyโ€”
Youโ€™re still the only one for me.

Tremendous trials have left you lame;
false accusations soiled your name;
yet I the truth can plainly seeโ€”
Youโ€™re still the only one for me.

Have patience, my beloved one,
Godโ€™s making you more like His Son.
Iโ€™ll love you, dear, eternallyโ€”
Youโ€™re still the only one for me.

Though time has ravaged you with care,
youโ€™re still the only one for me.
