Longing
Solicitude
Unfulfilled fantasy
Hankering deep within the heart
Restless
Waiting
Expectation
Cheerfully enduring
Finding purpose in the delay
At ease

Two quintets, usually in iambic tetrameter or pentameter, but can be any form.
May be rhymed or unrhymed. If rhymed, only 2 rhyming sounds per stanza.
The first quintet presents a question or statement; the second answers the question or counters the statement.
This one is a Double Cinquain.

Really enjoyed this “List Poem”! Loved the whole feeling and sentiment of this poem. I will have to say though that you did “Jolt” me a bit to find “Hankering” in this love poem! Ha! I think you may drive some of our friends from the East to check a dictionary! LOL! – Bravo, My Dear!!

Good! 🙂 I’m glad you liked it. And consulting a dictionary never hurt anyone. I’ve become best friends with my dictionary lately, as I’m stretching my mind like never before. “Hankering” has become one of my favorite words. And yes, I already knew it, but didn’t use it much. It appears in at least one of my other poems too.
