Mother eagle knows itās timeā
Shows him how to fly;
Pushes him from out the nestā
Will he fall and die?
No. For mother swoops beneath,
And she does not tarry.
When he calms his fears and rests
On her wings, sheāll carry,
Through the wind his form sustain,
Start the lesson once again.

Thank you. š Yes, you should. I usually write 4-5 poems for each form, working on it for an entire week or more before it goes live on my blog. If the rules vary, then I try out the different variations. This helps me get more comfortable with the form.
