With This Ring

wedding-rings

So long
We waited for
This day to come. And now
Our patience yields its rich reward.
So with
This ring
I pledge my life to you alone.
No longer two, but one,
In body, mind,
And soul.

  1. So beautiful! Did you write this for your own wedding or for someone else that is close to you? I love all of your poetry. Quite frankly, I’m in awe of your poetic talent!

And so… I don’t know if you accept blogging awards or not; it’s okay if you don’t. But please know that I’ve nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award. You can find more details at http://throughinkandimage.com/2018/03/15/two-blogging-awards/

❤ to you, my extremely talented friend!

    1. I wrote it for a dear friend’s wedding.

Thank you so much for thinking of me for the Sunshine Blogger award, Lynn! I am honored and deeply touched. But no, I do not accept awards on either of my blogs. I really need to put that in the sidebar. 🙂 I keep thinking about it and procrastinating….
