Lone
Embers
Glow again
When breathed upon.
Her fire, extinguished,
Had nearly snuffed his out too—
A dead man walking—until
An angel came with heaven’s breath,
Stirred gray coals once more to red hot flame.
Lone embers glow again when breathed upon.
