Americans Are Dreamers Too

americans-are-dreamers-too

As Americans we enjoy tremendous freedom,
We are proud to claim this great land as our home;
Though dreamers have the power to make change happen,
They too have challenges to overcome.

As Americans we defend the things we cherish.
We are strong, resilient lovers of the peace;
Yet dreamers may lose sight of the horizon,
And too soon faint, and happy dreaming cease.

So, Americans, let us stand as one together;
We are brothers after all, so let’s unite,
That dreamers may continue in their vision—
This too our nation’s valor will ignite.
