Son Salutation

Morning dawns
Light sliced into ribbons
Falls delicately upon rumpled sheets
With a yawn she stretches and turns
Toward a mother’s son
Her arched back sends
Her bare breasts out to greet him
His eyes open wide to behold the wonder of her
He warms her with his smile
And rewards her salutation
With a total eclipse
