Text Sex

You kiss me good morning each day
Before you go to work
My forehead thanks you
An hour later I hear the familiar tone as
My phone conveys the message that you love me
I could set my watch by it
I’m almost convinced it’s your phone
I should be sleeping with
After all, LG says he loves me
But those words are foreign to your lips
And my ears
Text sex is supposed to be between lovers
Not spouses
Do you only love me when I’m out of sight?
