Feather-Weight Kisses

You kiss me in the morning and some at night as well,
But the kisses that you give to me do no love story tell.
For hardly do they graze me, my lips they barely touch.
Could you try a little harder? Or do I ask too much?
My dear, if you don’t love me, then find the words to say,
“It’s time to stop pretending. Let’s go our separate way.”
Please kiss me like you mean it, or kiss me nevermore,
Lest I should wipe it off my face as I walk out the door.
