Intercession

At such a time I need my friend!
Perchance this sentence to rescind,
swiftly now my prayers ascend,
borne on wings of the wind.

It would make sense to say that my friend needs me; but in reality, I need my friend. And so I earnestly pray, night and day, for his healing, until the answer comes.

Dribble
Name derived from the name of the micro-fiction form โ€œDrabble,โ€ which is a story consisting of exactly 100 words. A Dribble is a poem consisting of exactly 100 letters (not charactersโ€”spaces and punctuation are not counted) in four lines.
Because of the brevity of the poem, the title is integral to the poem (though not included in the count).
Usually humorous
Rhyme scheme: abab
