5-line poem used to teach parts of speech
Line 1 = 1 noun
Line 2 = 2 adjectives describing the noun in L1
Line 3 = 3 gerunds related to the noun in L1
Line 4 = 4 words (a phrase) that further describe the noun in L1
Line 5 = 1 noun that is a synonym of the noun in L1

    1. Thank you, V.J. This is the way I was taught to do a Didactic Cinquain. There is another cinquain form that begins and ends with opposites. I’ve written a few of those as well, but just now I can’t think of what that form is called.
