Sitting down to write, I wonder
How to bring my thoughts to light,
Trapped inside a cage of thunder,
Lost in darkness of the night.
Then I look before, behind me–
Lying there, I find The Key.
Close my eyes and turn it blindly,
Set my thoughts imprisoned free.

Thank you, Kim. For a long time I kept my writing locked inside. It is actually a relief to let it go free.

There are times people think it would be better if I kept my thoughts locked up. 🙂

I thoroughly enjoyed how you used the elements in the poem to describe thoughts the artist might have been having as she drew this. a very rare intuitive poem from the others i have read.

Thank you very much, Gina. I already follow you from my other blog, but I just began to follow you as Linda Luna, and I downloaded and read your poetry book, “Sweet Whispers.” Wow! What a wonderful collection of thoughts! I especially liked the progression through “An Eternal Reincarnated Love Song.”
