On the day we met, a winter storm was brewing just outside
In my heart likewise a tempest brewed which I could scarcely hide
For though your lips were silent, you said tons with your eyes of blue
And I started to save my kisses in a bottle just for you.
As days and weeks turned into months, and months turned into years,
Together we shared happiness, as well as sorrow’s tears.
I could not tell when you’d be mine, but this one thing I knew
I was saving all my kisses in a bottle just for you.
We don’t get to see each other now that you are far away,
But, my darling, you have promised to come back to me someday;
And I know our hearts are bonded and will be forever true,
So I’m saving all my kisses in a bottle just for you.

I’m afraid I have to agree with “True George”, whoever is the lucky guy who opens that bottle will be flooded with passionate kisses! That’s enough to make any guy envious!! Such a heartfelt and longing poem. Bravo, Dear Linda.
